We combat food poverty by providing food parcels to those in need. Many donations come from local businesses such as fresh bread or fruit and vegetables. If you need help or want to donate, please get in touch.
We provide English classes for asylum seekers alongside Kelvin College. This course will give people the opportunity to learn English and also gain the confidence to start integrating into the community.
Every Sunday, we mobilize our teams of volunteers to make a real difference. Join us and see what can be accomplished when you have an impassioned team who are focused on change.
As a registered Scottish Charity, our mission is to deliver an effective diversity campaign in Scotland. One way this is achieved is through the recruitment of Police Officers from the Black Minority Ethnic Group.
African Relief Support and Police Scotland Positive Action Team are working in collaboration, to facilitate diversity and integration in communities across Scotland. Police Scotland is truly committed to community inclusion in Scotland, and we are here to help guide you through the Police selection and recruitment process.
This collaboration seeks to eliminate discrimination and advance equality of opportunities, foster good relations, tackle prejudice and promote integration. Police Scotland is also committed to having a workforce that reflects the diversity of society, and also has the skills to meet the needs of the diverse local community.

The main reason that African Relief Support was set up was to help people in anyway we can. If you are struggling with anything and do not who to turn to, please get in touch and we will do whatever we can to support you.
The team have done everything from contacting broadband providers on behalf of those with a low level of English, to providing activities such as jigsaws to asylum seekers spending lock down in hotel rooms.
Our dance and music classes give children the chance to have fun! These classes are created for vulnerable children and teenagers from deprived areas.
We want to have a safe space where children can be active, make friends and have a good time. If you want to get your child involved please get in touch with us.
Please note that these classes are currently going to be online over zoom due to Covid restrictions.
